The Capital Preservation Quotient (CPQ) accounts for gains and losses of securities you've sold and added to current unrealized gains and losses.

The Capital Preservation Quotient tells you by what % your portfolio must grow in order to maintain its orginal value. If 0% or greater, you can withdraw all dividends and know that your principal is stable.
